Mandy and Paul are good friends of my neighbors. And, I know Mandy's father pretty darned well too. (The world gets smaller all the time, people! I probably know you through Kevin Bacon...ok, that was an obscure joke that not everyone probably understands, but I'm laughing.) Anyways, Mandy and Paul have two super cool boys, Nate and Zach. That makes two family sessions back-to-back with young boys. And let me tell ya...I can definitely notice the difference between young boys and young girls. Watching how much energy the boys have...OMG. There is NO way my girls have 1/10th that energy and motion. They must be saving it up for their teenage years. Help me now. Seriously, if Zach wasn't being held he would just take off. Absolutely no fear. And no pain...I watched him bounce of stuff a couple times without even a wince. Boys are fascinating.

Liam and his 'rents came to me for family photos last year. He continues to be one of my favorite photos from last season. And here he is a year later...and definitely still one of my favorites. This year brings a more grown up version of Liam, one who likes to run away from the camera, hold keys, and draw on paper. I managed to guess all three were his favorite activities. So, let's compare...
And, his adorable face is still the same.

Angela Higgins:
What a difference! Such a great example of making sure you get annual portraits. What a cutie! :)

Regan and Aiden (for you older folks...that would be a girl's and a boy's names, respectively) have some beautiful eyes!! Older brother got the blue, and lil' sis got the brown. Simply adorable! It's family portrait season...so if you are related to Melissa, Jeff, Regan, or Aiden...please don't ruin your Christmas card surprise. Close your eyes now. For the rest of you, check out the beautiful family below.

I've known Matt and Sybil for a looong time now. And I love the story of how they met. Actually, I suppose it is more of the story of how they finally started dating. See, Sybil is Matt's best friend's sister. Did you follow that? So, Matt and Morgan are best friends growing up. Morgan has a little sister named Sybil. As Matt graduates college, he still hasn't met his soul mate. Little did he know that The One (Sybil) had been in his life all along. They date, fall in love, get married, and have these two ridiculously cute kids.

AJ's sneaking in his senior photos at the last second. I think he would've rather been watching his Pittsburgh Steelers playing on tv right now, but he humored me really nicely and did the model thing. I, on the other hand, was anxious to get out of the house after watching Jason's Denver Broncos beat MY San Diego Chargers. UGH...not right. We are last in the division with the Broncos and the Raiders?!
Back on the photos...Not only did AJ "do" the photos, I think he rocked them. The first one even looks a little A&F to me. Have a great year AJ, hope it is a blast for you!

Hi Katie, I love the photos you took of four of the most important people in my life....my son, Paul, daughter-in-law, Mandy, and grandsons, Nate & Zach ("Tank")! Aren't they great? (Spoken like a proud mom & nana!) If I don't receive photos for Christmas, I'll be contacting you in January!!
