Welcome Nice to meet you!  This is just my simple blog about being a wedding photographer in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles, the people I meet, and the photographs I take...plus some stories to help you glue them all together.  Please feel free to leave a comment...I love hearing from everyone.  As my fortune cookie said "Great people will come into your life" so I take that to mean you all, too!

Seems like when the grapevines turn that lovely color of orange...the cute boys come out. If you remember last year, we had some sweet vineyard sessions, and this year is no exception! Liam brought his parents along to share in the experience this afternoon (ya know...grabbing dirt, eating sticks, and making faces). And, can you believe how incredibly cute he is?! UGH...I could've just hung out with them all day. Liam, don't be so easy on your parents. It's not fair to the rest of the kids in this world...you're setting the bar too high. =)

Just a couple from a recent family session, and I have to say I left inspired and uplifted. These two sisters got along so well together, it gives me hope for my kids! They were kind, spoke nicely to each other...and even shared! So, they deserve a whole big blog entry all about them! Normally, I'd include a few of the family shots, but this one's all about the sisters.

Meet my sweet little friend Nolan. He's all cheeks, smiles, and giggles. Nolan's my good friends' first kid...and I thoroughly enjoyed getting a little love from him today. I've been so bad about visiting (shame shame), so hopefully he doesn't forget me by the next time I see him! And, if you can believe this (as you should believe EVERYTHING I tell you), the first photo is actually of his very first time rolling over on his own. That's right, he saved the big moments for me and my magic camera.

Sydney brought her parents along this last week to take some pictures. She's a sassy, adorable 2 years old. LOVED her!!! She is a lot like my Anna...just doesn't want to make the photos *too* easy. She'll laugh and play, but if I have a camera in my hand, her eyes go elsewhere. Anna makes me work for the smiles and the moments, but when they happen...awww. So nice. Thanks so much for making the time to have this session...I hope you enjoy the sneak peek! Sydney, I loved your laughter and sense of style. I think you can be my personal shopper soon! You've got a great sense of style. =)

Baby Henry was born at 1:26 pm (on his due date no less). And I got to be there!!! It was amazing and miraculous, words will never be able to describe the birth of a baby. There's so many emotions...humor, anticipation, and love were my top three for the day. So, after acing his first test (Henry got 9-9 Apgar scores) and impressing everyone with his abilities to spread his toes so far apart you'd think there were no joints in there...he promptly feel asleep for a well deserved rest. I guess taking your first poop, spreading your toes, and getting a bath are pretty exhausting when you've been used to floating in warm water for months. =) Happy Birthday Henry! Have fun meeting your big brother tomorrow, he's gonna love you. henry1.jpg Proud Dad checking out those amazing toes... henry2.jpg Mom telling family about the new addition henry3.jpg Henry about 20 seconds old (and yeah, they did get the hat on him that fast!) henry4.jpg Dad taking the first of those walking-rocking-swaying hikes around the room henry6.jpg Henry waits patiently to be transferred to the new room... henry8.jpg
