Welcome Nice to meet you!  This is just my simple blog about being a wedding photographer in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles, the people I meet, and the photographs I take...plus some stories to help you glue them all together.  Please feel free to leave a comment...I love hearing from everyone.  As my fortune cookie said "Great people will come into your life" so I take that to mean you all, too!

Connection Made! Loved this session. It was a blast! Will and Elliot are getting married in October in Bakersfield and I get to be there! I'm so excited. =) Will and I are both engineers (shhh...I don't tell everyone about that part of me). Civil Engineers. That's right, I'm a Professional Engineer. It's my little secret. Don't tell anyone else. I have never worn a pocket protector, though. And, I never carried a slide rule (I do however have an HP calculator that kicks butt). Anyways, there's another thing that Will & Elliot and I have in common...they are getting married in family's backyard. I got married in my Aunt's backyard and LOVED it. So intimate. And when I told my husband that Will and Elliot are going to have Metallica, Coldplay, and Ramones music at their wedding...he asked if he could come too. I know this is going to be great fun! I'm sure you'll see it in the photos, but aren't Elliot's eyes just amazing?! They seemed to take the colors in from the surroundings and just intensify everything. So cool. Will and Elliot...thanks for making the drive out and I look forward to seeing you two again. elliot07.jpg elliot08.jpgelliot09.jpg elliot13.jpg elliot01.jpg elliot14.jpgelliot34.jpg elliot16.jpg elliot21.jpgelliot29.jpg elliot45.jpg elliot26.jpg

Matt and Stacey are from the same small Central California town and went to the same high school together. Never even knew each other back then. Fast forward a few years...to a small bar in San Luis Obispo...they meet one night. They talk. Then they start to discover the connections...turns out they are from the same small town! Same high school! And get this, Matt had bought a surfboard that same day from Stacey's brother who works at the local surf store. How conincidental is that? Little did they know how intertwined their lives already were when they first met. Stacey and Matt---thanks for joining me today for a walk through the (thorny) woods. I am still picking the foxtails out from my clothes, but it was worth each one of them. I loved our session and am looking forward to the wedding. A special shout-out to the beautiful Molly the Brown Dog. Stacey and Matt brought her along for a couple photos since she is part of the family after all. browndog24.jpg browndog03.jpgbrowndog16.jpg browndog33.jpg browndog20.jpgbrowndog18.jpg browndog07.jpg browndog081.jpg
