Welcome Nice to meet you!  This is just my simple blog about being a wedding photographer in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles, the people I meet, and the photographs I take...plus some stories to help you glue them all together.  Please feel free to leave a comment...I love hearing from everyone.  As my fortune cookie said "Great people will come into your life" so I take that to mean you all, too!

This weekend's trip to San Diego included...drum roll...my baby cousin's graduation from UCSD Medical School. How is it possible that my little cousin is old enough to have accomplished such a tremendous feat? Time seems to have moved like cheetahs do. My uncle John "hooded" her as part of the ceremony. It was a super cool moment that sent shivers up my spine. And, I discovered that the tune Pomp and Circumstance makes me cry just as much as Pachabel Canon. Melissa's dad, aka my uncle Rod, was SO proud! Just look at the proud parents! What a sweet accomplishment! and, I loved this guy's shirt hidden beneath his gown...A+ for humor

Posting from my iPhone at Disneyland (on the way to San Diego)...I never thought we would see this day. Jason was crying on the phone telling me the Celtics won! It is a lakers vs celtics NBA finals!!! Talk about a grand rivalry! We are so going to these games!

I am the world's best wife (at least for this weekend).

I bought Jason 12 homemade tamales. I am taking the girls over 300 miles away to San Diego for the whole weekend. And, now he can enjoy Game 6 of the Celtics vs. Pistons (and possibly Game 7, if needed) in absolute peace and solitude. And, now that the Lakers have clinched...the pressure is on. Game 7 would be on Sunday...which also happens to be Jason's birthday.

And, with that...let's enjoy some of the highlights from Game 5 on Wednesday evening. (I think you can hear me snickering at the end of the movie. I'm evil.)

Oh, and here's a couple of new additions from tonight.  Please tell me Anna is normal.  Please?

OMG.....Lulu and I just about pee'd our pants on Jason's "Eye of the Tiger" clip. Nice one. I love how he stays focused on the T.V. as you just buzz around him with the camera.

What do you do on a 330 mile drive, alone in the car, with your iPhone? And you see the perfect portrait light staring you in the face? Begging you to use it? Duh...you take a self portrait while driving. And, by the way...to the 45 people who have come to my site the last two days with the search term "katie hot"...thanks! and welcome! I'm not sure who's spread the message that there's a hot katie here, but aren't you bummed?! LOL. I'm too scared to do a search for "katie hot" myself, as I'm sure the real site they are looking for is definitely *different* than mine!

Oh. No. There is now a must win game 7 for the Boston Celtics to make it to the Eastern Conf. Finals. Jason paced. prayed. cheered. coached. But, none of it worked in our living room. The Celtics still lost tonight, and now the pressure is immense. They must win on Sunday. If they don't, does anyone have a few anti-depressants for Jason? Even the cats sensed the tension in the room. They looked like they were watching over Jason.

Angela:

LOL - He seems much more reserved than my other half who will all of a sudden jump up and yell at the TV as though he were there at the stadium. It scares the bejebus out of me and the dogs.

Fingers crossed for game 7!
