Baby Henry was born at 1:26 pm (on his due date no less). And I got to be there!!! It was amazing and miraculous, words will never be able to describe the birth of a baby. There's so many emotions...humor, anticipation, and love were my top three for the day.
So, after acing his first test (Henry got 9-9 Apgar scores) and impressing everyone with his abilities to spread his toes so far apart you'd think there were no joints in there...he promptly feel asleep for a well deserved rest. I guess taking your first poop, spreading your toes, and getting a bath are pretty exhausting when you've been used to floating in warm water for months. =)
Happy Birthday Henry! Have fun meeting your big brother tomorrow, he's gonna love you.
Proud Dad checking out those amazing toes...
Mom telling family about the new addition
Henry about 20 seconds old (and yeah, they did get the hat on him that fast!)
Dad taking the first of those walking-rocking-swaying hikes around the room
Henry waits patiently to be transferred to the new room...

(10.10.07)Those are the most precious pictures I've ever seen. Would you like to come to Chicago the next time I have a baby. I'm a blubbering mess right now!
